The Quick Guide to Controlling Paper Wasps! [DIY Pest Control]
Paper wasps are a common problem because they build nests in or around homes or structures. While they sometimes feed on other insects and help keep them away from our property, Paper Wasps are also known to be aggressive when they feel their nest is in danger. Before applying any treatment, be sure to wear your PPE, whether that’s in the form of full-coverage clothing or a professional bee suit if you feel it's necessary. Use Stryker Wasp and Hornet Killer to spray any wasps and nests from a distance. This will knock down wasps on contact and affect any wasps that return to their nests. Next, create and apply a 0.1% emulsion of Sylo Insecticide. Treat along spots where paper wasps would build nests like along eaves, underneath porch ceilings, and around door frames. This will leave a residual application that will help prevent wasps from re-establishing nests for up to 90 days.
