Self Realization: Defenses Against Narcissism Series. Twelfth defense against narcissistic abuse is to look inward and try to understand what made you grow so attached to an abusive person. Before you start though, remind yourself that you carry no blame for what happened to you. You just need to look deep inside to see how your past shaped you to overlook abuse. The answers will help you learn and avoid it happening again.
Narcissism is the biggest opposing force to rights. Once people find themselves in a narcissistic relationship, they'll experience emotional and verbal (sometimes physical or sexual) abuse. Narcissists leach off of their victims, using them for all they can get, and when they can extract no more, they discard their victims.
If you're in a narcissistic relationship, use these videos to convince yourself to get out of it. If you're not, these videos will help you keep out of them.
