Hero's Journey: Defenses Against Narcissism Series. The sixth defense against narcissistic abuse is to go on a hero's journey. Humankind's greatest stories are those that bring the main character to the road in search of some objective, but what they find is the key to unlock what's kept them stuck in life. For those of us susceptible to abusive relationships, this is the one best way to ensure that we never get into another one again.
Narcissism is the biggest opposing force to rights. Once people find themselves in a narcissistic relationship, they'll experience emotional and verbal (sometimes physical or sexual) abuse. Narcissists leach off of their victims, using them for all the can get and when they can extract no more, they discard their victim.
If you're in a narcissistic relationship, use these videos to convince yourself to get out of it. If you're not, these videos will help you keep out of them.
