Based on the video game series by Monolith, Sierra, and Day 1 Studios.
In addition to being a beloved FPS with bullet time mechanics F.E.A.R blended western military aesthetics with Japanese horror elements for a unique experience. I liked the idea of adapting the plot into a Netflix series.

The story concerns a taciturn Point Man in the ranks of a secret government task force against supernatural enemies, First Encounter Assault Recon. He is aided in an assignment to assassinate a rouge psychic and his army of vat-grown soldiers by his incredible super-human reflexes he has no explanation for. During what seems a routine clean up operation for a government black ops program he starts witnessing horrifying events, in particular a little barefoot girl with dark hair who keeps whispering about secrets to his past.

The music is Trapped Under the Ice and Paranormal by Hybrid Music as well as dialogue from the original F.E.A.R game.
