Youtube has become fertile ground for new types of storytelling and after Scott Cawthon (Five Nights at Freddy's) retired there has been many influenced by the combination of animatronics, horror, and mystery.
The Walten Files is a great example of an unraveling story told in the medium of VHS style videos, sometimes suffering 'glitches' that contain codes to unravel the darker secrets of the plot.
I think the concept of two men, Jack Walten and Felix Kranken, combining efforts to make a franchise chain of animatronic restaurants but having their partnership torn apart by circumstance and betrayal is worth a film all by itself. That an the fact that Jack Walten looks so much like Adam Driver inspired me to at least approximate what that prequel to the series might look like.
