Accelerating a global protein transition: Cross-sector partnerships around the world
Governments around the world increasingly recognize the multi-solving role alternative proteins can play in transforming food and agricultural systems in ways that achieve climate, food security, biodiversity, and global health goals. Likewise, purpose-driven corporations and investors across the globe are seeking out profitable solutions to issues faced by people and the planet.
Together, governments and industry can create shared value on a global scale and move much, much faster than ever imagined. In this opening session of Day 2, we’ll hear directly from government and industry leaders who are propelling a global protein transition via increased investments in R&D, manufacturing incentives, public-private partnerships, and job creation focused on better, safer, more efficient ways of feeding the world.
