A Cyc. or Cyclorama is a curved wall and floor where it should be impossible to tell where the floor ends and the wall starts. Cyclorama walls are used as a filming background for a variety of things; they can create the illusion of space, are useful when filming green screen because there are no shadows, and are also used in theatre to create the look of sky. They are often used when filming commercials to give the product full attention. Cycloramas can also be called infinity coves or infinity walls."
