SCRIPT
A PO (or Purchase Order) is a document issued from a purchaser ( someone buying something ) to a vendor ( someone selling something ) to authorise a purchase. So, if you're a freelancer on a job you may need to get a PO from whoever is employing you. It's just a document that confirms that your employer has asked you to work, and for how much. It's really really dull in other words. But necessary. Like so much of accounting!
