Method acting is an acting style designed by Konstantin Stanislavsky in the early 1900s - correct spelling in the description. It refers to an acting methodology for actors, the main idea is to draw on personal emotions and experiences to create a more realistic performance. For example, if your character is a drunk, then the actor would get drunk before turning in their performance.
A word of warning.. whilst under the influence of 'The Method' actors can become dangerous and should probably be avoided. That goes for positive and negative characters! "
