"Joe." Demi protested, Ava burried against Demi her small arms wrapped around her waist.
"Demi, Ava hasn't slept this good in a long time and frankly neither have I." Joe explained softly, Demi sighed knowing that she should move away.
"She's going to get confused Joe." Demi murmered stretching, she had also slept really good not dreaming about the person she would never be able to get away from. But she would not admit that to him.
"Get some sleep Dems, I was hoping you would come out with me tomorrow night." Joe whispered, Demi smiled shyly at him and pulled Ava onto her chest and snuggled agaisnt Joe.
"i'll let you know when I wake up in the morning." Demi mumbled sleepily, Joe slid his hand down to her waist and pulled her against him.
"k." he said smiling to himself, they were soon sound asleep again.
"Mr. and Mrs. Greene what can I do for you?" P.I. Andrews asked leaning back in his seat watching them.
"we would like you to watch this guy, he's our son-in-law. We want custody of our granddaughter, he's a football player and a player off the field. After our daughter/his wife Ashley died he's been out more with different girls trying to fill the void but he's never with our granddaughter. We want you to find out something that could help us in a custody battle.' Joel explained, Andrews took some notes and smiled slightly.
"How much?" he murmered, Gayle shuddered she hated having to spend money on things that didn't involve her.
"100,000, now and when we get custody another 250,000." Gayle announced, he nodded and stood up.
"I'll contact you once I have any reasonable information." he explained, they nodded and stood up heading towards the door.
"do your best." Gayle announced, she only wanted her granddaughter so that Joe wouldn't have her.
"yes, I'll go get him." Denise murmered, she knew something was up when their P.I Andrews called this early in the morning.
"Demi." Ava whispered, Demi yawned and snuggled closer to her. Ava giggled and shrugged her shoulders at Joe.
"Thanks for trying, why don't you go downstairs and get breakfast." Joe suggested, Ava nodded and glancing back at Demi hurried out of the room. Joe shook his head smiling and climbed onto the bed leaning over Demi. "Wake up." he whispered, Demi wrinkled her nose in protest, he gave in to temptation and kissed her gently.
"hmm."Demi mumbled slipping her arms around his neck, opening her mouth slightly. Joe groaned and darted his tongue into her mouth they both sighed in delight.
'Joseph! Andrews is on the phone!" Denise called out banging on the door, Demi giggled softly when Joe growled in defeat and jumped off the bed.
"I'll deal with you later." He murmered, She blushed and pulled the blankets over her head snuggling back into the warm blankets.
"oh shut up." She hissed, he smiled shaking his head and opened the door.
"Whats up mom?" Joe asked leaning against the door smiling at her, Denise just sighed shrugging and tossed him the phone.
'Don't know but you have to call our lawyer after Andrews, he called but you two were already sleeping." Denise murmered stretching, Joe nodded and shut the door.
"Hello Andrews." He said rubbing his face, they had gone to school together but had taken different paths.
"Hey Joe, how's everything going over there?" Andrews asked curiously, Joe settled down on the bed and pulled Demi between his legs her head resting on his thigh. He was amazed at how much she slept.
"Very well, I've been helping out with Ava's daycare class, its been really great." Joe replied, Andrews let out a sigh of relief.
"Good I just wanted to let you know that Mr. and Mrs. Greene were here today. They wanted to hire me to watch you and find out anything i could so they could get custody of Ava." Andrews announced , Joe's heart pounded in surprise and he let out a shocked curse.
"What, what are you talking about they. They don't even want to be around her." Joe exclaimed in disbelief, Andrews sighed shaking his head.
"I agreed but naturally I called you first to let you know. I won't be taking any of their money but you should be prepared." Andrews explained, Joe rubbed his face. Thanking him they talked a few more minutes catching up on the time lost.
"Is everything okay?" Demi asked sleepily, she could feel joe tensing as he talked and looked up at him.
"I need to be distracted." Joe announced, he rolled them over and Demi stared up at him wide eyed.
"Joe.' She questioned nervously, now that he finally had her alone Joe knew exactly what he wanted.
"Hush, Demi." Joe murmered sliding his hands up and grabbing fistfuls of her hair.
"I uh." Demi sighed when he kissed her deeply, Demi slowly slid her hands down his back tilting her head back his lips trailing down her throat.
Joe yanked off the top she was wearing, the feel of their warm flesh against each other caused them both to gasp. Joe caught her wondering hands and pinned them above her head smirking.
