"So Demi, I have to go to class early but I'll pick you up tomorrow night for the movie." Nick announced, Demi nodded but she was too distracted as Joe's foot slowly inched towards hers.
"Of course Nick, i"ll see you tomorrow." Nick murmered kissing her head, Joe felt Demi tense slightly but she still had a smile on her face.
"Maybe Joe can get Demi to realize Nick's not good for her." Taylor murmered, Zac had his arms around her. No one knew that they were an item. They jumped when Demi came around the corner.
"Aha!!!!" She exclaimed giggling, Zac smiled slightly stepping away from Taylor.
"Aha what little girl?" he asked smirking at her, Demi rolled her eyes grabbed Taylor's hand.
"Tay, can I talk to you?" Demi asked hopefully, Taylor smiled slightly winking at Zac.
"Sure Demi," taylor replied, Zac pouted as they started to walk away.
"but what about me?!" he protested, Taylor hurried back to him kissing him gently. Demi giggled blushing slightly at the show of affection.
"Come on girl." Taylor gushed grabbing Demi's hand and they hurried away.
"So where are you from?" Nick asked leaning against the lockers, he wasn't surprised when a few minutes after talking to Demi. Joe had sought him out for some drugs.
"Orlando." Joe said smiling slightly, Nick reached into his pocket and pulled out a small bag.
"150." He murmered, Joe was impressed most kids didn't know what they were doing but Nick clearly did.
"Thanks man." Joe said slapping him on the shoulder.
"Anytime, there's a party tonight at the sheridan's if you want to meet up there." Nick announced before Joe could hurry away.
"Sounds great, see you there." Joe murmered, he slipped the pills into his pocket and as he rounded the corner he collided with Selena.
"I knew it, your just another druggie. Stay away from Demi!!" Sel ordered, Joe sighed rolling his eyes and grabbed her arm pulling her into an empty room.
"Listen to me..Sel shut up!" Joe ordered, when she started yelling thankfully everyone was in class.
"Don't talk to me that way!" She exclaimed, Joe smiled slightly he admired her.
"Listen, the truth is I'm an undercover police officer. We have goten tips that Nick is supplying other teenagers with drugs, also one buy informed us that he wants Demi, and he will do anything to get her." Joe announced, Sel burst out laughing and gasped for breath.
"ha, please as if I would buy that." Sel said shaking her head, her mouth fell when Joe sighed and pulled out his badge.
"You cannot tell anyone about this, you and the principle oh and Ms. Lovato are the only ones who know about my true identity." Joe explained, Sel closed her mouth and raised her eyebrows.
"Wait, why does Ms. Lovato know?" she demanded hands on her hips, Joe winked at her.
"I'm 21 Sel, if I need to date Demi to keep her safe, I will. But i had to have her mom's permission." Joe explained, Sel nodded in understanding.
"Can I do anything to help?" she asked softly, Joe nibbled on his lip and looked at her closely.
"Just keep an eye on Demi, if she's going to hang out with nick alone I want you to text me." Joe announced, hearing the bell he quickly gave her his number an pushed her out the door.
"Ill let you know." Sel murmered, he nodded shutting the door in her face and she glared at him storming off.
"What did you need to talk about Demi?" taylor asked curiously, they were sitting in the student lounge area which Demi thought thankfully was pretty empty.
"I uh, do you believe in love at first sight?" Demi asked softly, Taylor looked at her curiously and then her eyes widened slightly.
"You like Joe, don't you?" Taylor teased, Demi blushed and smiled shyly.
"Yeah, but I mean we just met isn't that a little awkward?" Demi murmered, taylor chuckled softly shaking her head.
"Nah, that's how my parents met.. and their still going strong." Taylor announced, Demi grinned hopefully and leaned forward.
"With Nick around all the time, I've never had a boyfriend." Demi confessed, taylor pretended to be surprised but it was common knowledge although she thought Demi had been kissed before.
"You want some girl advice?" Taylor asked gently, Demi nodded quickly and Taylor leaned forward.
"Ok, just go for it Demi. Talk to him ask him to do something tonight." Taylor announced, Demi's face paled slightly and she licked her lilps.
"Maybe he'll think I'm being too forward." Demi whispered, Taylor chuckled softly.
"Dems, guys like girls who can be both forward and shy." Taylor explained, Demi nodded taking a deep breath.
"I can do that." Demi murmered, Taylor smiled and the bell rang.
"call me later and tell me what happens." Taylor ordered, Demi nodded in agreement and hurried off towards her class.
"Is this seat taken?" Demi jumped in surprise and smiled up at Joe.
"Nope, go right ahead." She murmered, Joe smiled and dropped down beside her leaning back in his chair.
