In this video essay, I discuss Book Plutocrats by Cristia Freeland. I am taking a look at the ultra-wealthy and billionaires of today. We talk about the evergrowing inequality, debt, and wealth accumulation. I cover some billionaires as an example, such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Bill Gates.
We are talking about the detachment of the billionaires from the rest of society and the dying middle class. Billionaire doomers and tech bros are willing to isolate themselves from reality by using their power and wealth.
Meanwhile, capitalism by itself is at risk of falling from the accelerationism of capitalist inequality and climate change.
So What happens when there is only one billionaire rule, the one to crown them all?
