In a world with looming climate change, hardship, economic crisis, and rising far-right movements - the future seems desperately bleak. So let's explore collapse while standing in the middle of a smoke pit from yet the worst forest fire season on record.
In this video we will zoom through the history of economic crisis, we will explore why the modern capitalist system threatens us with mass extinction, mass poverty, starvation, and climate collapse. We will look at basic capitalist crisis ideas as outlined by Marx and Rosa Luxemburg, but will also see why theories of capitalist crisis were wrong. No change will happen unless people unite to make a change, yet the only unity we experience so far is the unity of authoritarian far-right movements. The collapse will be inevitable unless people start taking the crisis of modernity seriously.
