How and why do middle-aged soccer moms dive into Conspiracy theories and Reactionary politics?

This video essay talks about the rise of QAmom and a Mom for Liberty - feminine front lines of the modern far-right are made up of tradwives, modest Christian ladies, and suburban mothers. Soccer moms travel from essential oils and law of attraction to outright neo-nationalist conspiracies, COVID-19 and climate change denialism, often burning all the bridges along the way.
Facebook groups and Instagram Posts shine in pastel aesthetics, minion memes and other forms of content that is attractive to women, and rising neo-nationalist movements, conspiracy theories and hard-right groups appreciate the same aesthetics.
In this video essay, I explore the radicalization of women - save the children, march for children, and anti-lgbtq rallies all work to attract women into their movement. In return - tradwives of the far-right, women in Christian nationalist and QAnon spaces make far-right ideas appealing to middle-class audiences, gaining more and more traction for the far right in the mainstream.
