Hotkeys:
Cmd + Shift + C to pre-compose.
Cmd + D to duplicate.
Cmd + A to select all.
Cmd + Opt + Y to create a new adjustment layer.
R for rotation properties.
Home to go to the beginning of the composition.
P for position properties.
C for camera tool.
Steps:
Put the image into the composition.
Pre-compose the image and label it logo.
Pre-compose the logo composition and label it logo 3D.
Go into eh Logo 3D layer. Check the 3D box. Hit P to bring up the position properties, right click and click on serrate dimensions. Alt + Click to create an expression. Type in “Index” and click away to apply the expression. Duplicate the Logo comp. as many times as you’d like, this amount will equate to the depth of the logo. Create a new adjustment layer, apply a curve effect on that pull the white bar down. Put the adjustment layer just below the top layer. Go back out to the original composition and check the 3D box as well as the collapse transformations, continuously rasterize box with the star. Hit R on the keyboard to bring up rotation properties. You can use the rotation properties to animate the logo or you can create a new camera and use the C key to change the camera view.
