Today, in our sports encyclopedia series we will talk about SWARM Chess.
The game SWARM Chess is a modified form of chess with few exciting developments.
The game is played with the regular chess pieces on a regular chessboard.
The basic rules of the game stay the same with few exciting changes.
The game initiates after the placement of the piece by the first player.
During the player's turn, they must move each piece that has a legal move.
The player who initiates the game shall only move six pieces on its first turn.
In order, to keep in check with already moved pieces the player can mark or rotate them.
The player cannot move any piece that is not able to perform its usual function.
If a player makes moves that allow a piece that was previously unable to move, then the player should move it before ending their turn.
The player can move each piece once in their turn.
Castling is observed as a king move so a rook can only be allowed to move after the castle if it's able to.
The player cannot move their king into check.
The player's checkmate by their opponent will not be finalized until they have finished their turn.
If the player's king is checkmated at the end of its turn then the player loses, even if they have checkmated their opponent's king.
