Design Pedagogy Encounter 5
Design Pedagogy ENCOUNTER, a crossing boundaries sharing and discussion from architects educators from Indonesia, UK, Italia, USA, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia about the challenges and ideas in managing design pedagogy in a design studio.
We are honored that many representatives across different schools of architecture in Indonesia and international guests share their experiences and design studios in this events. By doing so, we hope to learn to strategize a better and suitable design pedagogy for the Indonesian context.

Yenny is an Assistant Professor at the Architecture Program, College of Architecture and Design, Prince Sultan University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Currently, she is assigned as the Research Director for the College of Architecture and Design. Her current research project is about Emergency Dental Clinic Design for Covid-19 Pandemic. Her future research agenda will be in the area of Humanitarian Architecture, Architectural Heritage, Community Development, Disaster and Reconstruction, Post-disaster Housing, Sustainable Heritage Development and Management, Urban Resilience, Vernacular Architecture.
Al Busyra is a lecturer at Department of Architecture, Universitas Bung Hatta and Principal Architect of AAID+ Studio. In 2015, he acquired his PhD from Universitas Gajah Mada, Yogyakarta. His main research interest is Urban Planning and Design, and Traditional Architecture. He has a range of design experience in designing various buildings, mostly in West Sumatra.
