Design Pedagogy Encounter 2
Design Pedagogy ENCOUNTER, a crossing boundaries sharing and discussion from architects educators from Indonesia, UK, Italia, USA, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia about the challenges and ideas in managing design pedagogy in a design studio.
We are honored that many representatives across different schools of architecture in Indonesia and international guests share their experiences and design studios in this events. By doing so, we hope to learn to strategize a better and suitable design pedagogy for the Indonesian context.

Giulia Setti is an architect with a PhD in Architectural and Urban Design. Her research focuses on urban regeneration and transformation of industrial tissues and buildings. She aims to create new design strategies, in order to give identity and to recover the abandoned. She is teaching an elective course "Recomposing Urban Fragments" in the Faculty of Architecture.
Matthew, a RIBA Chartered Architect with 18 years’ experience and an accredited RIBA Education Client Adviser, is dedicated to bringing excellence to the design of schools. He runs design Unit UG12 at the Bartlett School of Architecture with fellow architect Johan Hybschmann.
Johan is one of the founder of Archmonger, an award winning London-based architectural studio. He uses the tactic of anamorphosis to reconstruct icons as a series of rotational and condensed architectural figures that are then reused to create other formal and programmatic interventions which in themselves fuse the public and the private.
