Finding an epic swimming hole at Calaveras Big Trees state park. This place always delivers. Big trees and cold water. There are a few swimming hole options up hwy 4, this one worked for today. We've been taking our kids here since before they could walk. My parents took us here before we could walk. Glad it's finally open. Some good times in the Sierras.
The best part of the trip is jumping off rocks and floating down the North Fork of the Stanislaus River between the north and south grove.
