Some say that modern art is confusing, meaningless garbage, but I dare to disagree.
Actually, there is some modern art that can be described as "garbage", which are some of the pieces produced by modern conservative artists.

In this video, I review some of the modern art and some of the conservative modern art and try to explain why modern abstract art actually has more sense (and higher value) than those produced by conservative artists.
Three criticisms of conservative art that I pulled from the book are -
Lack of subject - con art always sticks to the specific, easy-to-catch topic
Art is too rational - ideas are laid plain by authors
Con Art is stuck in time and place and does not translate through cultures
I review the "artists journey" book by Steven Pressfield and try to apply what I learned to support my points. The book by itself is not political (if you consider that it is possible for anything to be non-political), but I will apply it anyway.
In this video, I tested out more of a standard commentary/video essay rather than an active application of the book as I usually do.
