Otters Sliding; Plus Mink and Fox
Otter sliding down a creek bank in Montana. Notice the slide marks they make in snow - I wish I had been able to photograph them when they were fresh.
Next is a mink for size comparison.
Finally, a red fox shows why the log hasn't been busy this winter -- When the water is frozen, animals can cross the creek in many different places and the log is not needed for easy travel.
