Hello and welcome to the fifth part of this series of tutorials that i'm creating for beginners, focused on how create a low poly character in Blender.

In the fourth section of the modeling module, we are going to recognize gradually the interface elements, and also organize our work space, as follows:

*Changing the display options of our objects, regardless the display mode is enabled.

*Organize the objects moving them to different layers. the layers are independent spaces creates with that objective. Different to the layers from the 2D programs, where they are canvas that can interact together applying different effects.

*Also we need to know that Blender only allows us handle 20 layers that cannot be customizables by now. Even so, there are people who are working on add ones that break that limitations, allowing us to have a layer system more elaborated. I leave here the links from the people who are working on that add-ons. By the way is important read the description of each video, since you can find the links to download the add-ons:

Super Grouper de Paul Geraskin:
   • Super Grouper WIP

Objects Layer Manager de Antonio Mendoza:
   • blender Addon  - Objects Library Manager

This first add-on is the more completes in my opinion because both give us the possibility to break the limit of 20 layers, also give us the possibility to named the layers, allowing have a more organize scene.

Layer Manager de Alfonso Annarumma:
http://blender-addon.blogspot.com.co/...

The add-on created by Alfonso Annarumma only focus to customize the 20 layers, but I want to mention his work, because I like showing how the community makes great Blender.

If you don't want to install add-ons for this, you don`t need worry about that, since Blender 2.8 will come with a new interface that have all I mentioned before about layers, that will call as Collections. If you want to know about that, I suggest checking the work from Dala Felinto:

   • Blender 2.8 Development Demo 2 - Render La...

*At the end, we are going to name the objects in our scene to recognize them more easy, because find objects in scenes with many objects will be more easy.

I wish you a great day!
