Celebrating both opus 200, the first piece of 2018, AND #halloween, I bring you the beginning to a somewhat ambitious album! This song was really fun to make, and though it's not the BEST dark synthwave song, I hope it gets the mood across.
Take Your Time (finished on April 7, 2019) is the twenty-seventh album I created, under the stage name Theihs, and is the fifth Electronic Music album. After a month-long hiatus throughout December, 2017, I started the new year with a piece inspired by the synthwave mixes to which I had been listening: The Unholy Trinity. The creation of the piece also needed a new E.M. album to go with it, so I decided to use the dark synthwave theme when creating the album artwork. The title itself is in reference to my own life; during this time, I was quickly maturing in the adult world, and felt as though my life was going too quickly. The title and the gloom exuded by the artwork were supposed to remind me to slow down, lest this darkness befall me. Regardless, #darksynthwave #synthwave !
All music was made with samples from Garritan's Personal Orchestra 4 and plugins from FL Studio.
