Today, in our sports encyclopedia series we will talk about GIANT UNO.
Giant Uno is a modified version of regular UNO with few interesting developments.
The most prominent difference in the game is that it uses relatively larger cards, as the name suggests.
All the basic game rules of Uno are followed when there is ambiguity.
The game begins with the distribution of the cards and then turns alternate.
The players either lay their cards or pick one from the deck if they don’t have one that matches the card in front.
In the game, there is a swap hands card which is a wild card that may be played on any other card.
When a player plays a swap hand card, they pick any opponent and change hands with them.
The roles are reversed and the player gets the cards of the player with whom they changed hands.
If the picked player only has one card, the player will have to say UNO immediately or draw two cards if someone catches them.
The game also has three blank custom rule wild cards.
At the beginning of the game, the players write down their own house rules that will come into play if any of the three wild cards are engaged.
Since these cards are wild, they can be played on any other card.
If a wild swap hands card or a wild customizable rule card is the first card flipped at the beginning of the round, then their action is not utilized and the first player can play any card of their wanting.
When the game ends, the swap hand cards and customizable wild cards are each worth forty points.
The player who has more points at the end or manages to get rid of all their cards wins the game.
