Steps
Mask out the mouth you’d like to move.
Duplicate that layer and invert the mask of the bottom layer.
Center the anchor point on the mouth layer by selecting it and double click the pan behind tool in the tool bar.
Put your wav file into your composition and trim the composition to the length of your audio.
Right click on the audio, keyframe assistant, convert audio to keyframes.
Open the position properties of the mouth lay and alt + click the stop watching to create an expression.
Pick-whip to the slider underneath the both channels within the audio amplitude null layer.
Type the expression above within the position properties in the mouth layer and adjust the numbers according to how much you’d like the mouth to move up and down.
Hotkeys
G for pen tool.
Holding alt while pen tool is selected allows you to curve a point.
Alt + / fit composition to screen.
Command + D to duplicate.
M for mask properties.
L twice to bring up waveform view.
N for end of work area.
Shift + Command + X to trim composition to work area.
