Hi Neighbours,
Below is the written recipe and a link I made for you to have a download version you can print.
Also you can divide the dough into 2 for 2 small or personal size pizzas or make 1 large like 16 inch pizza. This recipe I do in Bread Machine, by hand or stand mixer. Today I did in the bread machine .
Pizza Dough Recipe ( I made in Bread Machine)
Ingredients:
1 cup warm water
2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup olive oil
#### Instructions:
1. Add the warm water, active dry yeast, and granulated sugar to the loaf pan of your bread machine. Wait 5 to 7 minutes to ensure the yeast becomes foamy and active.
2. Add the flour, salt, and olive oil to the loaf pan.
3. Set your bread machine to the dough setting.
4. When the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough from the machine. Deflate it and form it into a tight ball, sealing the bottom of the dough.
5. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, turning to coat the dough. Place the dough seam side down in the bowl.
6. Cover the bowl with a damp tea towel or cling film and let the dough rise until it has doubled in size.
#### For Pizza:
1. Once the dough has risen, stretch it to fit your pizza pan or stone. Add your sauce and desired toppings
I backed mine in preheated oven at 375℉ or 190℃. 3rd shelf up in the oven for 35 minutes give or take. I can’t have my oven up high so that is why I bake at 375.
#### To Freeze the Dough:
1. Add 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil to the inside of a large freezer bag or bread bag, rubbing the bag to spread the oil.
2. Form the dough into a tight ball and place it in the oiled bag. Seal the bag, leaving room for the dough to rise a bit.
3. Let the dough rest on the countertop for about 30 minutes before placing it in the freezer.
4. When ready to use, remove the frozen dough from the freezer and let it thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
5. Place the thawed dough in a bowl on the countertop, cover with cling film, and let it rise until doubled in size.
6. Stretch the dough to fit your pizza pan and you know the rest :)
