Very High Solar Activity (4 Day Video) - 5/10/2024
Very high solar activity the past few days (5/8 - 5/10, 2024) with active sunspot region 3664 producing five X-Class solar flares, countless M-Flares and at least five associated coronal mass ejections. This is some of the most potent space weather activity within the past 20 years. A strong (G3) to severe (G4) geomagnetic storm watch is in effect beginning late on May 10th and could last until at least May 12th.
