Farsided Coronal Mass Ejection (7/30/2022)
Earth sided solar activity is quiet. The farside of the Sun on the other hand... not so quiet.
This large coronal mass ejection (CME) was observed early on Saturday and because it was farsided, will be directed away from our planet. Video by LASCO C2.
