Filament Eruption (1/20/2023) - SolarHam.com
A large filament stretching across the southwest quadrant of the Sun erupted on Friday beginning around 10:00 UTC (Jan 20, 2023). The event also looks to have triggered another eruption to the south of AR 3190 shortly thereafter. This event likely launched a CME into space, however it remains to be seen if any of the plasma will be directed towards Earth. More to follow whenever necessary.
