M6.7 and M4.6 Solar Flares + CME (8/28/2022) - SolarHam.com
Two moderately strong solar flares were produced by active sunspot region 3088 on 8/28/2022 as it approached the west limb. The first event was an M6.7 flare at 16:19 UTC and was followed up by an M4.6 flare at 18:32 UTC. The first event was responsible for a noteworthy coronal mass ejection (CME) that appears to be directed to the west and away from Earth.
