Teaching & Stand-up Comedy share a 'give and take' dynamic. Both depend upon dialogue over monologue and so educators can learn to use less teacher talk but engage more. The dynamics of dialogue & interaction are key; we can not learn or laugh without engagement & the secrets of stand up comedy can help teachers communicate and engage more effectively.
