Story telling is the core of teaching and stand up comedy. First we build a story then we must learn how to deliver it for maximum engagement. For teaching & comedy engagement is essential. The rule of three is the go to joke format and remains powerful because it's the shortest and most concise story to tell. This 'rule' in humour can highlight difficult points, delivery & engagement make laughter, learning and engagement more powerful.
