At the heart of comedy is communication and connection, we can learn to use it better. It is hard to overstate the bad theorising & negative impact from Western philosophy (Aristotle & Plato) as it outright denied the value of comedy - as a society we accepted that negative idea for close to 2000 years, without evidence, testing or experimentation. Only now are we beginning to uncover the value of comedy, especially in regards to teaching, learning and mental health.
