Humour is only one tool in the comedians tool box, of course they have to be funny but fundamentally what a stand up comedian does is interactive, adaptive and dynamic dialogue. Teaching and stand up comedy do not exist without interactive dialogue, we can learn so much more from studying the dynamics of dialogue within stand up comedy.
