Should you put a trailing slash on URLs? No trailing slashes? We talk about what this is, and when Google sees domain variations as entirely separate domains. Some instances are when your URLs can resolve to both HTTP and HTTPS, resolving to both WWW and non-WWW, and trailing slash and no trailing slash.
