Google Spam Link Update December 2022
Google announced the Link Spam Update on December 14th, 2022. This update uses AI-powered spam prevention known as SpamBrain to detect both ends of paid links, both buyers and sellers. It can also detect sites used for the purpose of passing outgoing links. This update should take about two weeks to roll out. It will be rolling out at scale, to neutralize the effects of link manipulation on search rankings.
