1958 Smith-Corona 5TE portable electric typewriter demo
Lately I've gotten seriously into restoring these historic early electrics -- they're such wonderful writing machines. This one belonged originally to the Penrose Convent in Colorado Springs. With its new ribbon, new drive belts, a thorough cleaning and attention to each little thing that needed adjustment, this typewriter now works as good as it looks.
