Yes, you can comfortably visit Mansa Devi Temple using the ropeway.
After waiting for about one hour, our number was finally announced. My token number was 31, and as soon as it was called, we moved ahead with our group. Each group had around 40 people, which is a very effective way to manage the crowd.
After a delay of about 10 minutes, we were seated in the ropeway cabin. Each cabin accommodates only 3–4 people to maintain proper weight balance. The takeoff was very smooth, and within just 3 minutes, we reached the top.
Once at the top, we deposited our shoes and proceeded for darshan. There wasn’t much crowd, so we were able to complete the दर्शन comfortably within 15 minutes.
After darshan, there was another security check while exiting, which took around 10–12 minutes. The arrangements there are quite good—there are fans installed and a spacious waiting area where around 300–350 people can sit comfortably.
After waiting for some time, we got the ropeway for our return journey. The ride back took about 3 minutes and 10 seconds.
At the exit below, I noticed a well-developed and safe pathway that goes under the railway line through an underpass. It is highly recommended to use this route instead of crossing the railway track from above.
Near the exit area, you will also find food stalls and shops selling prasad.
Overall, the journey was smooth, organized, and convenient.
