Hot Potato -- scherzo for piano composed with AI
The seed for this composition was an original sequence generated by Allegro Music Transformer. I did 40 long continuations of the seed using Giant Music Transformer Bulk Generator.
The seed was only 200 tokens after I was done with editing it, preparing it for the continuation sequences. I selected phrases to built the piece from several continuation sequences, changing notes, repeating measures, etc., in MIDI software.
This software is collaborative and it doesn't produce music that has rests, dynamics (in the right places anyway), and tempo changes. That must be done in post-process, using regular MIDI software that comes with a DAW.
