Pure Energy -- composed using AI
Not your average piano piece. I enjoyed working on this one. The seed is an original generated by Allegro Music Transformer, the simple Huggingface version. Although the seed sequence was 420 tokens, it was short in duration and I'm starting to think smaller seeds sometimes work out better, as it lets the AI do its thing in the continuation sequences.
I did 20 long (4000 tokens each) continuations of the seed using Giant Music Transformer Bulk Generator on GitHub. From those 20, I selected about 8 to build the piece. I worked on this over two days, and it took about 9 hours total to compose, including refining the performance quality.
