From Scratch The Best Corn Dogs I ever made & a Cuz cooking
Hi Neighbors, in today's video my Cuz and I made some corn dogs to go with Ian's football Sunday food. We enjoyed making them and the recipe is below. I hope you enjoy watching and I appreciate your time. Thank you so much.
Most times when I make this I add a few spices to it and it is very good but to keep it simple I stuck with this one below. However if you like to add a bit of cayenne and paprika along with garlic powder and onion powder that is very good too. Plus sometimes I dice finely jalapeno and it is good to add that to batter if you like some spice
Recipe
1 cup of yellow cornmeal
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of pepper
1 cup of white sugar
4 tsp of baking powder
1 egg
1 cup of milk
oil for frying like a little more than a liter or a quart
16 wooden skewers
16 regular size hotdogs
