02-08 Using Volume and vdb in blender
Creating Clouds with Metaballs:

Add multiple metaballs and position them to form the shape of a cloud.
Convert the metaballs into a mesh by selecting them and choosing Convert to → Mesh.
Use the mesh to generate a volume by adding a volume component and applying the Mesh to Volume modifier.
Using Volume Displacement and VDB Files:

Add Volume Displace modifier to shape the volume further with a texture.
VDB (Volumetric Database) files can be imported into Blender to create realistic effects like clouds and fire.
Demonstrated how to import VDB files using Add → Volume → Import OpenVDB.
Rendering the Volume Cloud:

Adjust the volume settings such as density and resolution for better appearance.
Showed how to align the camera to view the scene for rendering the clouds.
Grease Pencil Overview:

The Grease Pencil tool is primarily used for 2D animation within Blender.
Example shown with a monkey head (Suzanne) in 2D strokes.
Grease Pencil was briefly introduced but not explored in detail since it focuses on 2D workflows.
Next Session Preview:

In the next session, the focus will be on understanding and using Armature for animation.
This session introduced volumes, cloud creation using metaballs and VDB files, and a quick overview of the Grease Pencil feature for 2D animation.
