Quran Verse 132 Chapter 2 Al-baqarah

This very legacy Abraham left to his children, and so did Jacob, saying, “O My children!
Indeed, God has chosen for you the Way of Life. Therefore, let not death overtake
you except that you are submitters (Muslim).” [Deen = The Divinely Prescribed
System of Life = Al-Islam. It has more to do with the collective life of humans
and the science of sociology. It concerns itself with people living in this world
collectively in peace according to a Code of permanent values that ensures success
in both lives. Religion (Mazhab) is more of a generic term signifying a creed
involving certain rites and rituals and seeking individual salvation. Islam being
a Collective System of Life is, in fact, a challenge to religion]
ووصى بِهَا إِبْرَهِم بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ يُبَنِيَّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَى لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ
2:132 ابراھیم نے اپنے بیٹوں کو اس بات کی وصیت کی اور یعقوب نے بھی ، اے میرے بیٹو! اللہ نے تمہارے لئے یہی دین پسند فرمایا ہے تو آخری سانس تک (اس دین کے اطاعت گزار ( مسلم ) ہی رہنا۔ [ دین اللہ کا تجویز کردہ نظام حیات ۔ دین اجتماعی حیثیت رکھتا ہے جس میں سب لوگ بہترین اخلاقی اقدار کے ساتھ امن وسکون کی زندگی گزارتے ہیں۔ مذہب کا لفظ قرآن میں نہیں آیا۔ لیکن یہ کچھ رسوم و رواج کا مجموعہ ہوتا ہے جسے انفرادی طور سے لوگوں سے الگ تھلگ ہو کر کونے میں بیٹھ کر اللہ ہو کہہ کر خیال کرتے ہیں کہ یہ جنت کا ذریعہ ہے۔
2 : 132 abrahim ne –apne beton ko is baat ki wasiyat ki aur Yaqoob ne bhi, ae mere beton! Allah ne tumahray liye yahi deen pasand farmaya hai to aakhri saans tak ( is deen ke itaat guzaar ( muslim ) hi rehna. [ deen Allah ka tajweez kardah nizaam hayaat. deen ijtimai hesiyat rakhta hai jis mein sab log behtareen akhlaqi aqdaar ke sath aman o sukoon ki zindagi guzartay hain. mazhab ka lafz quran mein nahi aaya. lekin yeh kuch rasoom o rivaaj ka majmoa hota hai jisay infiradi tor se logon se allag thalag ho kar konay mein baith kar Allah ho keh kar khayaal karte hain ke yeh jannat ka zareya hai .
