Track of Cyclone Kirrily (2024)
Cyclone Kirrily struck the Queensland coast of Australia a month after Cyclone Jasper in December. Forming as a broad low, Kirrily gradually organized as it approached the coast, before making landfall near Townsville, Queensland. After becoming a remnant low and moving northwards, it regenerated as a tropical cyclone in the Gulf of Carpentaria before it once again pushed inland and weakened.
While reported damages were minimal, it caused flooding throughout Queensland.
