Gear Review: Northside sandals, Part 2 - 1 month/50 miles - Always Ants
Join me in camp as I update the progress of my field test of Northside sandals in Oregon in 2022.
After a month of kicking around in the brown Riverside II model, they were showing signs of wear and had suffered various failures. A broken lug was expected but disappointing, but otherwise they were working out.
The new Riverside Lite model I'm using exclusively for trail running were holding up after 50 miles of trail. They are indeed lightweight but also a firmer sole than I expected.
Comfort is king when it comes to footwear; these two pairs were hardly noticeable on my feet, which is a compliment any maker of footwear would be glad to accept!
