Microsoft BASIC on MinivMac
After Microsoft derailed MacBASIC, the company releases BASIC for the Macintosh. Despite it being seen as a lesser compared to MacBASIC, MSBASIC was still used by many developers, and it gave the Mac that BASIC interpreter. It was capable of a lot, and many who were use to BASIC would feel right at home. At the time, most Macintosh development took place on a Lisa. However, programs like MacBASIC, MSBASIC, and later environments like MPW (Mac Programming Workbench) would bring development to the Mac itself.
