Installing IBM ThinkPad WinME on 86Box

It's now time to install the IBM Thinkpad OEM version of WinME onto 86Box. Like with the Compaq setup, the program will launch into the PowerQuest EasyRestore program, which will restore the HD image onto, well, in 86Box's case, another HD image. The installation itself is very straightforward, and after the image is restored, the PC will restart. From there, the WinME setup will do its thing. The hardware assigned to the emulator's config should be detected automatically by the WinME setup program, with the drivers being automatically installed. After that, the IBM WinME setup OOBE program will launch. And as in the case of the eMachines OOBE program, if it crashes, just restart the emulator configuration again until the OOBE program does start to work correctly. In my case, the third time was a charm. After that, and a few posts install tweaking, you should have an emulated setup running the IBM Thinkpad OEM version of WinME on 86Box.
