XBill On RedHat Linux 6.2 (86Box)
An evil villain called "Bill" is trying to install his "Wingdows" OS onto all the computers. It is up to you to stop him, even on his own platform via the fun game XBill.
The plot of the game is very simple. You swat the "Bill" characters before they install there "Wingdows" OS on all the independent platforms. This game is a typical on the Linux platform. Yet, despite there not being a native port of XBill for Windows 3.1, one can play this game via an X-Server. It's time to take the war to Bill himself. (in video game form that is!)
I've already explored this game a bit when I ran it under Windows for Workgroups 3.11 using the Exceed Hummingbird X-Server software. This game would become the staple of various Linux distros, and RedHat Linux was no exception. The game is simple, yet very enjoyable. Taking care of Bill in such a violent manner is a very nice stress-reliever indeed!
86Box is emulating a workstation with a i440BX Microsoft VPC 2007 motherboard, Intel Pentium II OverDrive Processor running at 200MHz, 128MB's of RAM, S3 ViRGE Video Adapter. XFree86 is running at the screen resolution of 1024 by 768, 16-bit color depth. Also installed is an AMD PCnet-PCI II NIC using PCAP, and for audio support, there is a Creative Labs SoundBlaster AWE64 audio adapter. RedHat Linux 6.2 is installed.
