Like with the Compaq installation, the installation of the eMachines OEM version of WinME is very straightforward. The only issue that you might encounter is that the WinME OOBE setup program that launches after the main setup will occasionally crash. Thus, the only fix is to constantly restart the emulator until the program works correctly. Other than that, the setup program will do its thing and the setup of the eMachines OEM version of WinME is uneventful. I've actually used an eMachines eTower that had WinME installed on it, and this is what you would expect.

I know that many will crap on the eMachines brand. However, for many people, eMachines was their first introduction to PC's. For many, the first time they were introduced to the internet was through an eTower. They came with a rich selection of software and did what a PC like it would have expected. Now, if we want to talk crap, let's talk about HP...

Again, special thanks go out to VoyArchivist for modifying the eMachines OEM disc to work on any PC emulator/virtualizer. Is there anything that he can't do. Anywho, the disc can be found here:
