How to use the Vizrt 4 Counter plugin.
The Vizrt 4 Counter Plugin allows you to create counting animations out of fonts. You can create text animations that count up or down at the speed of your choosing. This plugin is similar in function and use as the Advanced Counter plugin, however the options within this plugin are far less limited.
The Vizrt 4 Counter plugin is found in the Built-Ins window, the Container Plugins (CP) tab, under the Tools folder. To get this plugin to work you’ll need to drag it onto a font container.
Though the settings are a bit limited within this plugin there are a few properties that you can adjust to get the type of counter you want.
The settings within the counter plugin include:
Number: The number will allow you to set the numbers of the counter. This is the value that you’ll want to keyframe if you want to set an animation. You can set the keyframe at the beginning number of zero, then increase your timeline value. Next increase the Number to whatever value you want the Counter to count up to or down to. Whatever the number is, set it, and then set your second keyframe. Once you set the keyframes you should see an animation icon on the container.
Initialize will initialize the counter. After you set the Number values, you can click the initialize to load and initialize the counter.
